Last minute rehearsals
When it comes down to the nitty gritty, those last 2 days before qualification, the acts are willing to rehearse at any opportunity. Take Alex Sparrow from Russia – he was spotted rehearsing in the lobby for his hotel – the Holiday Inn north over the weekend. Without the flashy costumes, it still managed to impress us.

Worst kept secret finally out
It has finally been officially announced that the voting order for the final night will be determined by the previous evenings jury vote for the final. The EBU believe the result of this will lead to a far more exciting voting section, with closer results and a winner only being determined in the final few votes.

The OGAE Poll results are finally all in, and after a tight contest with Hungary, Sweden, United Kingdom and France battling it out, we have a winner!

Dress rehearsals underway
Monday saw 2 dress rehearsals for the first semi, including the jury dress rehearsal – the one where half the points for qualifying are determined. In under 24 hours, we shall have 10 finalists and 9 artists shall be sent home.
