A quick chat on the results of the first Semi Final One, hosted by Ewan Spence, with Samantha Ross and Steven Newby (ESC Insight), Elaine Dove (All Kinds of Everything), and Garrett Mulhall (Eurovision Ireland).

Ewan Spence is joined by Luke Fisher for the traditional ESC Insight Alternative Commentary. It's the first semi final of Eurovision 2012 - you should play before the show starts, and when the countries sing, the podcast beeps, so pause until the end of the song.

The first semi final's "Jury Show" is over, and half the marks will have been allocated to the eighteen counties taking part. We didn't see any disasters on stage, some countries stepped up to the mark to claim their points from the jury, while others have a lot to do tonight. Luke, Steven, and Ewan discuss the Jury Final in our latest daily podcast.

With the technical rehearsals all over, the simple fact is that we have seen the winner of this year's Eurovision Song Contest. We just can't work out who it is yet, and that's a great place for this year's Contest to be in. Still, let's look back at those last rehearsals with the podcast team.
