The first semi final's "Jury Show" is over, and half the marks will have been allocated to the eighteen counties taking part. We didn't see any disasters on stage, some countries stepped up to the mark to claim their points from the jury, while others have a lot to do tonight. With the technical rehearsals all over, the simple fact is that we have seen the winner of this year's Eurovision Song Contest. We just can't work out who it is yet, and that's a great place for this year's Contest to be in. Still, let's look back at those last rehearsals with the podcast team.

After the opening party last night there's a few headaches on the team, even though the work carries on. The Big Five and host country Azerbaijan take to the stage for the first time, and it's not at all what we expected.
