Ewan Spence is once more joined at microphone by Luke Fisher for this year's ESC Insight Alternative Commentary. It’s the first semi final of Eurovision 2015 – you should start playing the podcast before the show starts, and when the countries sing, the podcast beeps, so pause until the end of the song.

The cry of 'that's so Eurovision!' implies that Eurovision has a formula for winning. That's not the case, but John Egan explores what sorts of artist profiles--archetypes--have persistently found success in the Contest—and which artists in 2015 best represent each.

Andrew Main (Eurovision Ireland) and Ben Robertson (ESC Insight) sit down with Ewan in the final Juke Box Jury of the 2015 season. Still in the defendant's box are Estonia, Czech Republic, San Marino, Russia, and the United Kingdom.

The first points have been given out, as the juries across Europe watched Semi Final One's dress rehearsal. Gavin Lambert (ESC Tips), Ben Robertson (ESC Insight) and friend of the parish Luke Fisher look over the songs to see who tripped up.

Better late than never, 2015's Unofficial Eurovision Guidebook has hit the proverbial shelves. Chock-full of information on this year's artists, songs, National Selections, and each nation's history at Eurovision, this free, downloadable eBook is a fantastic resource to have at your fingertips as we approach this year's shows.
