As another year begins, it’s time for us here at ESC Insight, along with some friends of the parish, to look back at last year and listen through the Eurovision related music of 2021 to bring you our favourite musical moments. 

The ESC Insight team continues to pitch the performers and bands that they would like to send to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2022. Next up, Matt Baker proposes the UK sending an American LGBTQI artist to the Contest.

The COVID-19 pandemic meant that a strict Health and Safety Protocol was needed to get Junior Eurovision 2021 happening. The Omicron variant tightened those rules even further. Ben Robertson explains what it is like in Paris.

Poland won Junior Eurovision 2018 and 2019 thanks to a landslide in the online vote. That online vote evaporated for the 2020 edition. Ben Robertson suggests some theories why and looks at how strong the Polish vote may be in 2021.
