Sem Anne van Dijk is a Dutch playwright, dramaturg, and journalist. In 2020, he graduated from the Utrecht University of Arts in playwriting. Since then, he has worked with numerous leading theatre companies in The Netherlands.

Sem Anne has actively followed Eurovision since 2006. From 2023 until 2025, Sem Anne covered two Eurovision Song Contest’s and a Junior Eurovision Song Contest on-site. Today, he’s the producer for ESC Insight’s podcast ‘Eurovision Uncovered’.

Beyond writing and being a Eurovision journalist, Sem Anne advocates for accessibility in the performing arts and believes theatre, much like Eurovision, should be a stage where everyone belongs.
