I will be de first ro applaud a shortet broadcast. At around 4 hours, is a long stretch, even for an avid fan like me.

Here is one idea which might help. Would the EBU consider cutting the voting window short? Do we really need 40 minutes of voting window like we had in Liverpool?

I understand that for the broadcaster this brings some extra income but wouldn’t a shorter voting window bring some speed to the proceedings.
In 1998, when televote has been introduced, we had 15 minutes time for voting and maybe 15 minutes is nowadays a bit too short, but 40 minutes is way too much and TBH I am not sure that a longer voting has an impact on the outcome
