While it’s a great well deserved win for Sweden, I can’t help but feel a bit disappointed that SVT have taken us another step closer to the Eurovision Youtube Contest by winning with a staging that was so tightly locked in, Loreen could have stayed in Stockholm for the difference it made. I’m not saying we need a rule that mandates a minimum number of shots of the stage or audience, but some hint that they’re performing in the same arena as everyone else might be nice? I know, I know, get off my lawn, etc, etc… 🙂

Congrats to Loreen and the team though, looking forward to seeing what they bring with the hosting next year – Liverpool gave them a high bar to clear!
