It’s been a busy day in Eurovision circles, with the announcement that yes, the BBC will be hosting the 2023 Contest somewhere in the UK. Ukrainian elements will feature heavily in the show, the host city tendering process is under way, and the machinery of putting on a large-scale international event is starting up.
