  1. A day where everything went to plan – the good were good, the mediocre were meh and apparently blue hair can be found on an under 80 year old…

At least Justs has two jackets…it’s still a possibility for this year’s win…

Poland is juror bait, he is arguably the best male singer here and the diaspora vote will power this into the Final…

Oh Rykka, you are really go to be the ‘last of your kind’…where’s the attitude and kookiness you showed in the Swiss Expert Jury shows gone? Barbara Dex is really competitive this year!

Well done Israel and Hovi, you concentrated on the singer and only the singer – this is in the Final and it could now be an outsider for the win. Having watched this all over the Pre-Party season, I always had this down as one of the better songs this year in my blog – glad everyone is catching up!

IVAN kept his promise! Loving the description ‘loons about’ and the acknowledgement that IVAN is such a nice guy…but don’t they finish last?

Sanja has the best vocals of anyone this year for sure – will the staging be this year’s ‘Running’? Still hopeful that this is a contender for the win…

Ireland had the worst vocals today and the light colour would match a red giant star…all I could come up with!

Was Kaliopi off out shopping or for a nice meal with friends after the rehearsal? This staging and this very weak song will keep Macedonia in the SF.

Is the stage too big for Donny? Or will SVT need a very, very fit cameraman to keep up with him…

Will we be seeing our first wedding on a Eurovision stage? Why is Dami stuck on a box for most of this? Only Ani Lorak can pull that off…

Always good to hear Roy on this, by the way!

Easy one today for hashtag but Ewan’s taken it already! And I did leave a hashtag yesterday…

  2. Shai says:

Israel – Those who know me, know I have always been a keen advocate of the song. I wasn’t sure if they manage to pull this off, staging wise. I am quite happy to hear that they mange to do a good staging and didn’t mess it up. And on the way they manage to convince some of fierce opponents of the song, that the song has a merit after all.

Semi 2 is getting even harder to predict. The 1st half of the semi makes it so hard as there are 6-7 songs with chances of qualifying and for all of these songs to qualify will be very much against the odds or any statistical probability.
