Loading up into your ears with more news from the world of the Eurovision Song Contest is the latest ESC Insight podcast. Buckets of rumours from the Netherlands gives us a wide choice of tracks for the musical spot, we have the first declared song and singer of the season, the National Final results form JESC are pouring in, and the dates for Melodifestivalen will have a a subset of fans booking time-off and a cheap return flight to Sweden.

National Final dates for ESC are coming in, we have 35 declared countries, the roster for JESC is filling up, and everyone in the Netherlands is having a guess at to its singer, including this week’s musical pick with Dotan.

    Douwe Bob will represent The Netherlands in Stockholm. This has been officially confirmed.
    He is a singer/songwriter and this seems to be his style:

    @Ewan – U published your podcast on the day the Dutch media was already saying that Douwe Bob will represents the Netherlands. I heard your podcast 2 days later, when it has been already been confirmed.
    A question of who was first.

    Lots of people say lots of things. In my mind doesn’t count until broadcaster says it. But there will always be times news catches up and passes the ;cast.
