Eurovision Insight Podcast: Daily Chat from Copenhagen, Sunday 4th May Written by on May 4, 2014 | 9 Comments

A lazy Sunday morning here in Copenhagen, with just six acts taking to the stage. We’ll cover them tomorrow (but naturally a bit of Molly is going to sneak in at the end of the podcast). Today is time to look back at the last tech rehearsals of the second semi-final.

(Update: We had some issues with the file cutting out after Macedonia – the audio has been re-uplaoded now, please try again)

Why does the podcast end with Macedonia?

  2. Peter says:

Same is true with the itunes version of the podcast, it ends mid-sentence in the discussion about Macedonia.

  3. Ewan Spence says:

Issues with connectivity, will be releasing when back at our office

  4. Manchester? I suspect there would be lots of competition for hosting a UK show in 2015 – even assuming it’s only for arena’s with 10000 seats or more, there could even be a show in Leeds or Sheffield! It’s unlikely we in Bristol will have our arena by next year…

  5. togravus says:

After having read and listened to all the enthusiastic comments on Molly’s first rehearsal on many fan sites, I really look forward to watching Molly on Saturday now.
(I never watch rehearsals because I want to have the surprise element when watching the entries live.)

  6. Zolan says:

These comments are a reminder that the released clips are very misleading indicators of how things will appear on screen.

    Happily, much more positive overall.

  7. Hans-Henning says:

Oh, you sounded way to enthusatic there. But I will say this, If Sweden will not make it to the final the UK will stand a chance to gether all the love that is out there for Sweden and we will have a similar situation like in 2010 with Lena.

  8. Peter says:

    Podcast now works perfectly thanks!

It is strange hearing people sound enthusiastic about the UK entry. This is the first truly decent song we’ve had in 12 years and I hope it delivers on the hype on Saturday.

  9. Sharleen says:

*sigh* ‘the dancer from Lithuania’ – you should all know him! My friend Sarunas was a ‘member’ of InCulto back in 2010. He was dragged into the group to help them with their choreography. You should all go and say hello to him. He’s lovely 🙂
