Terry Vision meets Claus Zier… this year’s Stage Designer Written by on May 2, 2014 | 2 Comments

Every stage says something about that year’s Eurovision Song Contest, and the 2014 stage is no exception. ESC Insight’s Senior Interviewer Terry Vision catches up with the man behind the look of The Voice and The X-Factor in Denmark (along with MGP) to find out his inspiration, the secrets to the design, and why everyone is secretly doing ‘that scene’ from the bow of Titanic.

And after all that, there’s a little competition as well for you all to enter and win a signed copy of the stage design!

You can follow Terry’s adventures (and misadventures) through this year’s Eurovision Song Contest right here on ESC Insight, or over on Terry’s Facebook page.

  1. Peter says:

The stage design looks amazing this year, I love the what they’ve done with the wall of cubes. I’m a little worried that the stage might be too big though. Whenever we get a wide shot, it might turn in to a game of “is that dust on my screen or a tiny performer?” like we had in Dusseldorf.

So he’s to blame for the random cage around the stage. Lucky Gaitana’s young offenders aren’t here this year, they might have flash backs to when they did time!
