Newsletters are available every day! Written by on May 1, 2014

Hopefully you have seen all the news from around the Eurovision bubble this week, but maybe you missed some of the best bits?  It’s easy to do.

That is why we at ESC Insight get Ben Robertson to look at all the different websites, YouTube clips and articles to find the best of the best and to accumulate the most important bits of Eurovision news in one place each day.  Our newsletter.  Ben has now arrived in Copenhagen and he gives his views on the city in today’s Robertson’s Reflection.

There are some things that I miss at first glance – crew are not being driven around in Eurovision logo glorified buses, signs around the city don’t point out to the obvious landmarks and the Fan Mile is half-hearted.  It will pick up, but it’s clear that the big city Eurovision just isn’t as fun!  I want butterflies to step on to take me direct to the doors of EuroClub, rather than using my google maps to navigate myself straight through the red-light district.  Everybody we spoke to moaned about the problems trying to get to Eurovision Island to watch the show, and we spotted some buses that were either very early or very late heading in that direction from the centre which doesn’t bode well.

Anyone can read today’s newsletter online, and subscribe at the same time, from this link. You can even find old newsletters in our archive.  The newsletter will now be going daily until we have a winner for the 2014 Song Contest!
