Sam’s point about Igor and exploitation is something I’ve been kinda worried about too… I mean, I know Zlata and her team are apparently presenting him in what they think is a ‘respectful’ way (she said he represents ‘power’ or something) but he is just coming across as something to laugh at 🙁

There’s no way they will take him out of the performance, not after they bothered to fly him over to Sweden in the first place, plus Igor himself seems really honoured and excited about doing the whole thing, at least judging by his facebook page. The problem I have is that he himself describes it as “brutal” and that he is “scared to death” about the final performance… This is no easy thing for him to do, and especially if the general audience finds it as funny as we all did on Monday, what sort of an effect is this going to have on him?

A real shame because “Gravity” is actually my favourite entry this year, and I’m not only disappointed but slightly apprehensive about this performance :/

My big worry is that the live audience will laugh at the site of it from inside the Arena.
