Eurovision Insight Podcast: It's All Because Of You Written by on April 2, 2013 | 5 Comments

So nothing much happened last week, apart from the running order.

At least that’s what you might have thought. The running order is going to be a one of the big talking points during April and May, and the delegations are starting to bring out remixes, alternative presentations, and language variations. There’s the small matter of regional heats starting up for Junior Eurovision in The Netherlands.

…and the running order was yet another sneaky example of an ‘SVT Thursday’ moment.

Eurovision Insight Podcast: It’s All Because Of You

A quick glance at the running order issues, highlighting the covers and remixes, new guests for the London and Amsterdam previews, and music from Outtrigger.

ofcourse the netherlands goes to the final…no doubt at all!

  2. Ewan Spence says:

…just like The Toppers were guaranteed, and closing SF2 that year simply was the icing on the cake? Anouk’s progress is more likely than not, but far from obvious.

  3. Rob says:

my faith is big this year:) But looking to the quality level the past years from the netherrlands this is far the best song we send like ages really! There is nothing wrong with having faith in Anouks song, and her steady voice, without faith there is no life! I think it’s time for the netherlands to reach the final this year, it has been to long:)

  4. Peter says:

It’s easy to compare a ballad following dubstep, because you’re switching from random painful noise to actual music which is an instant improvement! 😀

And Netherlands is my favourite entry this year. I hope it does qualify, they deserve a good result.

Nice choice with Outrigger! Surely we’re due a rock resurgence at ESC soon? It doesn’t help with Turkey pulling out, as they’ve done their best to add some guitars to the mix in recent years.

  5. Kevin says:

I don’t remember anyone thinking De Toppers were guaranteed qualifiers.

As I said before I think Birds has a great draw coming after the 3 favourites. It would have been much worse had she performed before them.
