Three winners on the road to Malmo Written by on November 5, 2012

It’s all starting to come alive across Europe, and we’ve got a number of survivors from the early heats to go through to the next round of their national competitions.

Potential Swiss songs had three opportunities to go through to the televised final. The online vote with SF (the German-language broadcaster) will choose four songs , voting is closed now and we’ll be told the winners next week; RTS (the French-language broadcaster) will choose three songs internal; and RSI (the Italian-language broadcaster) have held a live radio show to select their two songs.

Congratulations to Ally and Chiara Dubey for winning through the RSI heat:

Catch Me, by Ally

Bella Sera, by Chiara Dubey

And then there’s the Lithuania. Having already ran two preview shows, this weekend was the first of five Saturday night heats, which will be followed by two semi-finals on December 8th and 15th, and their National Final on December 22nd. The first winner appears to be a tribute to the winning song of the 2012 Contest…

Loreen, by the Saules Brothers

We’re also looking at December 1st for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Amsterdam, and December 7th for the  Belarus National Final. It’s a very Eurovisiony run up to the end of 2012!
