Late At Tate

Live music, performance, workshops and fashion inspired by the Eurovision Song Contest will all be on show at an evening at Tate Liverpool.

At 18:00 tickets will be distributed for a discussion called “The Importance of Eurovision” inlcuing Dr. Toni Sant from Malta, educator Lisa Shaw and Dr. Paul Jordan.

The National Lottery's Big Eurovision Welcome

A concert featuring huge local names as well as previous Eurovision winners following the glitz and glamour of the Turquoise Carpet

The Turquoise Carpet

On Sunday afternoon the 37 acts will go down the Turquoise Carpet on their way to the Opening Ceremony of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Some Eurovision fans have been given access to the event through a ballot run by OGAE.

Joker Out from Slovenia join legendary UK Eurovision acts from yesterday, Lindsay Dracass and Samantha Womack (2001 and 1991 respectively) on the EuroClub stage.

The English National Opera will be joined by former Eurovision contestants Ruslana and Sonia as well as tenor Russell Watson to perform some of Eurovision’s greatest hits before a live screening of Semi Final One.

Eurovision Academic Conference Day One

Attend the first day of the Eurovision Academic Conference “EUROVISIONS”, featuring discussions about all the submissions for the annual Science Slam, speeches by British and Ukrainian researchers as well as a roundtable discussion about the future of Eurovision studies.
