ESC Insight brings you in-depth editorial, discussion and commentary around the Eurovision Song Contest.
Welcome to the Eurovision website that takes a closer look at Europe’s favourite TV show. It was first set up in 2010 following the success of Ewan Spence‘s Unofficial Eurovision Song Contest Podcast during the 2008 and 2009 Song Contests to provide the audio show with its own home.
Alongside the audio interviews, news, commentary and the ever-popular Juke Box Jury shows are a team of writers and contributors taking their time to really examine all aspects of the Eurovision Song Contest. While there are many daily news sites for the Contest, ESC Insight aims for a more in-depth magazine approach – think Newsweek, Time or Wired but for the Song Contest.
Joining Ewan Spence to help take care of the editorial side of things is Australian Eurovision expert Sharleen Wright, who casts her critical eye over all areas of the Song Contest (and holds back Ewan from some of the wilder ideas that he comes up with).
Together with the judges in the Juke Box Jury podcast series, our writing team, regular contributors, and guest writers, ESC Insight adds more depth and knowledge to the already successful online Eurovision community.
