The Eurovision Song Contest has never shyed far from experimenting with new technology and ways to engage the audience. With the announcement of a Eurovision Experience in Roblox joining the field for 2025, Ewan Spence sits down with RTE’s Suzanne Kelly to discuss bringing the Contest to the Roblox world.

The Roblox Eurovision Experience does not stand alone. The EBU runs many programmes that promote sharing and collaboration between its members around Young Audiences, and this is a great opportunity to talk about how the EBU collaborates on programming away from the Song Contest.

Ewan and Suzanne talk about…

  • …how the various EBU members work together on Childrens and Youth Programming
  • ..the various program exchanges available for members to share content and work on co-productions.
  • …the importance of public service broadcasting for younger audience.
  • …taking the Eurovision Song Contest into the Roblox world.
  • …designing the Eurovision Experience, from games and hearts to rhythm games and Commentator avatars.
