Eurovision Insight News Podcast: Germany Goes All In Written by and on January 16, 2025 | 2 Comments

Samanha Ross joins Ewan Spence on the panel to discuss the latest news from the Eurovision Song Contest world. Follow the Contest by adding our Eurovision RSS Feed to follow us in your favourite podcast application, or click here to follow us in iTunes and never miss an episode.

It’s our second Insight News podcast of the year, and the second run at the new format. After last week’s double-length episode that to cover everything from September 1st, this episode only needs cover one week in the Song Contest.

Samantha Ross (12 Points From America) joins Ewan Spence to talk about Lithuania’s Eurovizija.lt Semi Finals and how they reach out to the international audience

We do have results from Lithuania’s first Semi Final to talk about, as well as what we’ll add to our iceberg this week, German broadcaster NDR’s high risk strategy for victory, and a discussion about the different options a broadcaster has when presenting songs to the community.

And, as always, we look forward to what happens next.

Songs and schedules, Germany’s “all-in” decision, getting thrown around the Azeri stage, and more. Ewan Spence and Samantha look at seven days of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Thank you Ben, much appreciated. We’re still finding our footing on the new News Pod, no doubt we’ll nail it on week eight, after the Nationals are over, just in time for JBJ starting!
