The Eurovision Audience Poll is a project to gauge the opinion of the general public before each of the three live shows are broadcast to millions around the world.
Members from four different Eurovision community sites, ESC Insight, ESCXTRA.com, The EuroTrip Podcast and Bet Eurovision will collaborate to survey people leaving the arena after seeing the first public rehearsal for Semi Final One, Semi Final Two and the Grand Final.
These results will be collated together from all the sites to form one result, which will then be published later the same evening as each of those first rehearsals on the Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings.
The concept is similar to the concept seen at Melodifestivalen, where OGAE Sweden canvasses the opinions of those seeing the dress rehearsal in the arena for the first time. We wrote in February about how that was a good predictor of results, and time will tell if this remains the same for the Eurovision Song Contest.
More information about the Eurovision Audience Poll can be found at www.eurovisionaudiencepoll.com. Published results will be available on that website as well as via the social media channels of the four different community sites.
