500th podcast?- 👍
On a different note – The organization of Eurovision in Concert has announced that the venue for the 2018’s edition will be the AFAS Live(formally the Heineken Music Hall, which hosted the Junior Eurovision of 2012). Capacity is 5000-6000 people and tickets sale starts on Friday 29/09/2017. Tickets cost € 43.50. For those who are not familiar with Amsterdam, the venue isn’t in the City Centre and to get there you will have to use public transportation(Metro). There are also hotels in the area of the venue).
Congrats on your 500th podcast – how many years did that take? Hopefully I’ll be listening to number 1000…
Congrats on your 500th! And that’s a great idea with the three-minute songs – this week’s one was lovely!
Thanks Robyn, the three minute song idea comes from Ellie, and I’m sure she’ll read the comment here!
Curiously the first commentary tracks were for Moscow 2009 and you could argue there were five ‘Ewan talks about Eurovision’ things before the tracks… but the first ‘This is a Eurovision Podcast’ was Monday April 26th 2010.
And you can listen to that first podcast here… https://www.facebook.com/escinsight/posts/1644270448928134
