It’s not much, there’s no fanfare, just a date circled on the Carola Calendar… but after the 1st of September, any new piece of music is eligible for entry into Eurovision, it can be performed publicly, and that’s as good a reason as any to say that the 2015 season has started!
Eurovision Insight Podcast: Start Your Wind Machines!
Ladies and Gentlemen, will you start the wind machines, please! The 2015 season is underway, and our journey to the 60th Eurovision Song Contest begins with the Eurovision Insight podcast. Hosted by Ewan Spence, with music from Pat McGeegan.
ESC Insight will be continuing our coverage of Eurovision 2015 (and Junior Eurovision 2014) until we find our winners for the year. Keep up to date with the Insight Podcasts through the podcast’s dedicated RSS feed or subscribe to ESC Insight in the iTunes Store and get the show automatically downloaded.

THe plan is to make it yes, don;t gore to wave the endurance flag around the web, blogs, and social media sites!
Between recording and broadcasting the teller for confirmed countries has gone up to 22(at least according to your colleague/friend at eurovisionireland.net)

It has to be said that compare to last year, this is quite a big number of participating countries in such early stage.
One country is most likely not going to participate and that one is Israel.Plans to close the current IBA service are in full steam and the deadline for the closure and starting of the new public service is March 2015.Don’t think they will have time to apply for EBU membership, not to mention budget restrictions.
P.S.
love your Every Eurovision Song project, but I think you know that already 🙂
