    But Portugal hasn’t sent a fado since 1976. Not every slow song in Portuguese is a fado.

    It’s so funny to hear this back and reflect on it ;-). Samantha was spot-on last year about The Netherlands.

    It also basically confirms something about song structures: Repetitive songs without a typical climax or bridge CAN actually work. I actually prefer a song with a good repetitive chorus, instead of a song that builds up too slow (Norway 2015? Azerbaijan 2015?)
