I don’t understand why some of you are constantly claiming to understand why the fans love Undo. I like Sanna, but I never thought she deserved to go to Eurovision sooner or that she has “a God given right to have the perfect song”. I just love Undo. Had she gone with Empty Room now I wouldn’t have liked it at all. It is possible that people genuinely love the song you know.

I LOVE the podcasts though, I don’t want to sound all negative. When will we hear the last Juke Box Jury podcasts? How many are there left?

  3. Valentina sounded very good in the background – that’s who I really want to get out of SF1!

Also, nice reminder for Flying The Flag, Debbie – well worth following the link for anyone reading/listening to this…

Juke Box Jury is every Tuesday night… a few hours to go!

Everytime you hear comments like “He might have a career on the Continent”, you know that you are listening to a Brit. 🙂

There is no thing like “The Continent”, except from a British perspective. People from Belgium (or any other country “on the Continent”) find it equally difficult to have careers in Portugal, Bulgaria, Germany or the UK.

Btw, do places like Bornholm, Gotland, Corsica and Crete qualify as “the Continent” too? 🙂

Perhaps Axel will have a career in Belgium. That’s it. Most of us on “the Continent” are totally colonised by stuff from the US, the UK and Sweden when it comes to pop music, except for countries like Portugal, Serbia, Greece, Italy and several others, who still prefer to listen to music produced by local artists.

Is Debbie actually a Eurovision fan? She seems to be a bit like a deer in the headlights.

  7. Carola Martin says:

Debbie is actually part of the W12P Live radio show, which is very good. It’s a show dedicated to Eurovision so I imagine she’s a massive fan. I just imagine she’s dazzled by the fabulousness of the whole Eurovision experience, as I’ve heard her state in numerous interviews that this is her first time attending.

I also think she’s a breath of fresh air, these podcasts tend to rely on the same pool of people, new talent is always welcome in my opinion. Glad too that the gender and nationality balance has been rectified. 😉
