it’s always late May in Île de Bezençon, the island has a growing collection of Eurovision songs, and it’s time to welcome another guest to our little musical oasis. This episode was recorded earlier this year, before the sad news about the Café de Paris.

I am not on Twitter, although I have managed to follow #EurovisionAgain during each broadcast, which was fun.
This podcast is my chance to thank Rob , Ellie and the rest of #EurovisionAgain team for the fabulous work you have done this year and for the good time you have given us since March 2020.
My first Eurovision was 1973 and I watched all Eurovision contests since than(more or less), but still it was delight to watch some of the old contests. It was also delight that old songs are being discovered and cherished by the fandom, who suddenly realised that the history of the contest is reach and goes far beyond 2000.

The podcast has been recorded earlier this year but the effect of #EurovisionAgain was visible in this year’s ESC#250, which was broadcast on 31/12/2020 – Not only songs that were part of the #EurovisionAgain found their way to the list, but also songs from old contests, which we haven’t yet seen, found their way to the list. It seems that #EurovisionAgain has encouraged people out there to look for old songs. So kudus to all the team of #EurovisionAgain.
The effect of #EurovisionAgain is nowhere evidence than in MFÖ placing in this year ESC#250 – that song managed to enter the chart at #184 after a climb of 947 places. A lot of people shares your enthusiasm to that song.

Best of the wishes for 2021 to all persons involved in #EurovisionAgain and ESCInsight.
We will have a contest in 2021, that for sure, time will tell how it will go on. And when the 2021 contest is finished, I hope we get another season of #EurovisionAgain.
