Kazakhstan have obviously put a lot into their debut entry. The ballad part of the song is decent but not as good as FYR Macedonia. I find the chorus too Soviet. Maybe.

Italy. The song is not right for such young singers. Miss.

Ireland. Earworm hook but I fear for this without the Autotune. Miss.

Ukraine. I’m with Ben. This will stand out a mile. I see no reason why they can’t replicate the video performance on stage. Only the running order position stops this getting a Hit. Maybe.

Australia really understand the Junior Eurovision brief. Once again they have come up with a song that will appeal to young people. The verses are particularly strong. The pre chorus and chorus good but formulaic. The most certain top five of all this year’s entries but is there enough support out there to take Australia all the way to the win?
