Letters From Kyiv: Dear Eurovision, Do We Need To Split Up? Written by on May 3, 2017 | 2 Comments

Is everyone have fun? Enjoying the Contest? Well here comes Jon Jacob with his first letter of the season from Kyiv.

Jon Jacob marks the beginning of his Letters from Kiev this year with the first of many dark confessions. If the Eurovision Song Contest brought Jon to the BBC in 2003, might his relationship with the Song Contest be over now that he’s leaving the BBC twelve years later?

In amongst confessions, expect dark soundtracks, rancid tunes, and literal musical illustrations.

Letters From Kyiv: Dear Eurovision, Do We Need To Split Up?

Jon Jacob returns with his unique view to the Eurovision Song Contest in his first ‘Letter From Kyiv’. With a new job on the horizon, can his love of the Song Contest survive?

Is “The Eurovision” your catchphrase this year, Jon? A bit like “Eurovish” is for Mel Giedroyc? 😉

I think that you NOT watching any selection processes actually did you a favour with Artsvik and “Fly With Me” – if you had watched Depi Evratesil, I am sure that you would have agreed with me that she deserves a song so much more than this, as this entry barely scrapes the surface of her vocal talents…

    🙂

I imagine it doesn’t do her justice Martin, but I do still ADORE Fly With Me.

    Please forgive, etc.
