He’s been looking forward to it for months. He flies out all the way to Malta. He’s all primed and ready to broadcast to the world. Then he spends the duration of the show crouched over the toilet puking. Bad luck Ewan. I’m glad to hear you’re on the mend but I would take a bucket with you tomorrow just in case.

Having listened to all the team’s informative podcasts and reports from rehearsals I can now report I’m none the wiser as to who is going to win. The strongest songs don’t have the best running order. The best vocalists don’t necessarily have the strongest songs. The best stage performances often have neither the best songs or vocals. Then throw in the unpredictability of the separate adults and kids juries and you could make a case for almost anybody winning (well maybe not Ireland).

We’ll just have to wait and see what happens tomorrow. I’m sure it will be an enjoyable show with a nail-biting finale.

Lisa-Jayne can run a great show, you’d be in very safe and exciting hands if it comes to it.
