Wow, I’ve actually met one of the panelists! Eurobash in Birmingham was when I learnt that John and everyone else doing Eurovision things online actually does it as a hobby!
It’s good to hear about each entry as you guys have seen the full 3 minutes of each – I’ll have to wait until Friday…
From the Eurovision.tv snippets, Greece was far and away the best, looking already set to perform in the real thing. Finland and Armenia looked as though they were nearly there but the rest have a long way to go.
‘Cop Porn’ was how I described Moldova…
‘Wardrobe Malfunction’ waiting to happen for The Netherlands…
And “Goodbye To Yesterday” was perfectly staged at Eesti Laul, as Ewan so expertly pointed out in his series of videos pre-Contest.
Happy to hear I can remain optimistic for Armenia. It’s one where my own bias for complexity is at odds with realistic expectations.
Unbelievably, I still haven’t watched “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” so how about a bit of “Sapphire and Steel” instead 🙂
