    OK! Germany has to a certain degree the same perception of the ESC as the UK does. It is just the Big Saturday event with very little build up. On TV there’s just a promo clip running since the start of the week; and a few short news clips showing the Finnish Kiss and the Romanian climb to the High Note since Friday!
    And the other thing is that Casdada isn’t as big a name in Germany as anywhere else in Europe and the US (according to their website?). The term I heard the mostly with them is “Bierzelt-techno” which nobody uses as a positive. The Public perception in my opinion is as low as it was before Stefan Raab got involved (plus there are those who still go on about LaBrassBanda being the true winner).
    Personally I really hope that they will do very well. It would change the general perception of the contest so much more than the victory of Lena has done. And it will help to establish the National Final in the Format we had this year.
