Eurovision Insight Podcast: Epic Sax Guy #Fail Written by on January 27, 2012 | 2 Comments

The “Key to Eurovision” has been handed over and Baku is now the official host city. As part of the ceremony on Wednesday, the draw was made for the two semi-finals. While it means we can get the Eurovision Sabermetric computer going on some predictions, it also means that all the delegations know when they need to be in Azerbaijan for rehearsals!

Two more entries have been confirmed, which takes us to 4 songs out of the 43 we need for the Song Contest, but we’re losing some epic songs as the competition gets closer.

I really did think that Sunstroke Project would get through the selection process in Moldova. It is everything that you expect from Moldova, it’s different, it’s funny and it’s just entertaining. But Nelly Ciobanu and Geta Burcalu did get through the cut off.

Sunstroke Project is not going to Eurovision in 2012! I’m shattered 🙁
