Azerbaijan: Running Scared, by Eldar and Nigar. – Normally dont like Azerbaijan – this is good. Hopefully it wont be spoiled.

Austria: The Secret Is Love, by Nadine Beiler. – Very nice, the woman can sing. Well done – hopefully it’ll qualify and get a late draw.

Latvia: Angel i Disguise, by Musiqq. – surprisingly good. Should make the final.

Poland: Jestem, by Magdalene Tul. – Its good too – ive listened to it alot. English is very good also.

Denmark: New Tomorrow, by A Friend in London – I dont like it, I need to say it reminds me of ‘fly on the wings of love’ and then we may have couplets again and that could be scary.

    To Chris re Denmark: Wha??

Azerbaijan… Hit because its Azerbaijan. Song is not bad to be fair. I kind of resent them because they are guaranteed to do well.

Latvia I think people like it more than me. But I don’t like it. Miss

Austria… I think this will do well – best non-operatic love ballad

Poland – hit. Plus I liked it when you tried to work out what Jestem meant

Denmark. – Hit. I think the verses are better than the chorus…which is derivative but memorable. Plus people like Denmark in Europe but I agree about that punch moment

Azerbaijan – this song is boring, it goes nowhere, but top10 for sure since it Azerbaijan.

Latvia – i love this song, it´s relaxed and gives me a good mood

Austria – this song needs way to long to become a song, it´s also a bit to much wannabee-sophisticated, very exhausting to listen to the song, just the last minute is really good

Poland – don´t like it, but don´t know why

Denmark – Anthem? no way, this is childish cheesy poprock at it´s best and what we have heared 1000 times before. miss for me

  6. Chris K says:

Hans – What I meant was that it may seem unfavorable now, but come the final, it may win. Everything changes when they fit the stage.

If you remember 2000, Denmark was not a favorite to win the show in the betting or with the fans, but in the final, it worked and it won. If we go further back again, 1994 – who would have guessed?

I suppose it’s a quiet song that is a bit of an anthem and even though it’s a little dull and colourless, it is the standard of song that has succeeded in the past. Good luck to, i still don’t think it’ll win.
