Last week’s Insight Poll asked “Has NDR made the right choice in going to Düsseldorf for Eurovision 2011?” Everyone agreed that the Esprit Arena was the best choice on offer, and when you consider the other options were tents on runways (Berlin) or converted fairgrounds (Hamburg and Hanover) going to a fixed structure for the month is probably smart.
Yes there are going to be fun and games in Düsseldorf, not least with events and conferences already clashing with Eurovision and the demand for hotel rooms – such as Interpack 2011 the exhibition for packaging and processing machinery, materials and associated technology running from the 14th of May, but we’re going to be looking at how to go about attending the Song Contest here on ESC Insight in the near future.
To this week’s poll question, and it’s all to do with this weekend’s show. Many people, including my children, are eagerly awaiting the Junior Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday 20th (we’ll be covering the contest with our final Junior Jukebox Jury and live Twitter coverage, more details shortly). But it’s not to every fans taste, with many of them skipping it simply because of the ‘kid’ nature of the show… glossing over Sandra Kim’s victory.
So a simple question:
Will you be watching the Junior Eurovision Song Contest?
Head over to Facebook for the poll, and while you’re there, swing by and “Like” the ESC Insight Page.
