Day seven of rehearsals in Lisbon at this year’s Eurovision Contest, as the last semi final performers return to the stage for their second technical run throughs in the Altice Arena here in Lisbon. It’s the last chance to work on major changes to staging, lighting, and camera blocking.

    I don’t think Norway have pulled away Ewan. If I were a musical professional serving on the juries, I’d be loathe to vote for a singer resorting to scat in one line, and then immediately tell me that’s how I write a song.

    Talk about Moldova being a potential winner is a tad fanciful. You have a very good yardstick with Mamma Mamma. Top 5 with the televote but only 8th? with the juries. Where is the evidence that this year’s entry can improve on last year’s jury showing (which was actually very good given the type of song it was)?
