FYR Macedonia – Good song. My third favourite song. The panel have totally echoed my thoughts on this. Like last year, I can see this not doing well in the contest. As an adult orientated song it may suffer in comparison with Belarus. MAYBE

Georgia – For me this harks backs to the 80s and Michael Jackson after he had lost his way musically. I can’t see this appealing to young voters at all. However, I suspect young Grigol will have one of the strongest live vocals in this year’s contest and this could attract adult jury votes. MAYBE

Poland – Poland have effectively sent the same song as last year. It sounds like the sort of worthy and dated adult Eurovision ballad that these days fails to make it out of the semis. That said, Alicja has a lovely voice and could well deliver the strongest live vocal in this year’s contest. And then there are the online votes. MAYBE

Serbia – The fact that this song stands out from the rest may mean it does better than we would otherwise think. Mid-table at best. MAYBE.

Belarus – Very strong song. Probably my personal favourite (although the Russian video package may be stronger) – but is it too adult orientated? HIT
