The unveiling of the official theme may not inspire as much excitement as allocation draws and national finals, but it can be just as crucial towards shaping the tone of the show. Also in this week’s edition, have Finland and the UK set themselves up for a collision course by choosing stylistically similar torch ballads last weekend? Is Kallay Saunders set for a comeback in Hungary? And most importantly, can anything in the fourth Lithuanian heat hope to top the audio-visual spectacle that was Lolita Zero?
All this, plus your weekly national selection roundup – complete with broadcast times and streaming links – and a look back at what we’ve published here on ESC Insight over the past month.
