My favourite O’G3NE pop fact is the official explanation of their name. The ‘3’ is because there are three of them (obvs). ‘G3n3’ is a reference to them being genetically linked as sisters.

And the ‘O’? Not a sign of a distant Irish ancestor – it’s because their mother has type O blood. Seriously.

But then, it worked for Type O Negative.

Robyn, does that explain B*witched as well?

  3. Ben says:

The JESC songs this year are really strong overall, even if it is ballad-heavy. Russia and Macedonia stand out, but with all jury it could go to Italy or one of the unreleased entries. Belarus continues to do better (quality and results-wise) here than in the adult contest for some reason.
