Letters From Stockholm: Dear Portugal… Written by on May 4, 2016

Preparations for a trip to the Song Contest should never be skipped over. Take your time to think about the journey. Expect obsessive tendencies and music from 1982 and 1996. Jon Jacob brings his unique view to the Eurovision Song Contest in the first of his ‘Letters From Stockholm’.

And now, as they say, for something a little bit different. Some of you may have heard Jon Jacob on this year’s Juke Box Jury, others might recall some of his editorials here on ESC Insight. Maybe it was on his own Thoroughly Good Blog.

In any case, Jon Jacob is getting ready to fly to Stockholm to join the ESC Insight team to cover this year’s Song Contest. He’ll be here on Friday with a series of monologues in ‘Letters From Stockholm’, but why wait? If part of the journey is the preparation, surely that should be savoured?

Over to Jon.
