Eurovision Insight Podcast: I Know My Drag Queens Written by on May 25, 2013 | 4 Comments

Back to the slower paced podcasts now, with a little bit of news, music, and thoughts on the world of the Eurovision Song Contest. Yes the ‘Insight’ podcast returns.

It’s been an interesting week since we crowned Emmelie de Forest last Saturday night, with a huge amount of discussion online around the new voting system, the maths behind the combination of the jury and the televote, and more contentious topics.. We’ve also had the first moves to sort out the 2014 Contest, with Danish cities putting in bids, countries confirming an intent to enter, and Finland first of the mark to open the submission process for their National Final, UMK.

Eurovision never stops – it just gives us time to catch our breath, take a short holiday, and then it starts all over again.

Eurovision Insight Podcast: I Know My Drag Queens

Hosted by Ewan Spence, with music from Johnny Logan.

Ewan: you are a evil person for playing the song on this podcast.

Hooray for proper podcasts that weren’t recorded in the middle of a busy shopping mall! Thanks 😀

I can’t believe it’s all over so quickly, and yet it’ll only be a few months before Switzerland start picking their song for 2014.

Now you’ve escaped from the glare of Sauron, would it be possible to upload the live commentaries, if you recorded them, please? Unfortunately I had to watch the BBC coverage with friends, so couldn’t enjoy them on the night.
