Eurovision Insight Podcast: Daily Chat from Malmo, Friday 10th May Written by on May 10, 2013 | 1 Comment

We’re in a new Press Centre this morning (with some challenging wi-fi conditions), but this is our home for the next eight days so we’re going to do our best to make it work. The solution will probably involve some flags.

The second half of the second semi-final had their rehearsals yesterday, so the daily podcast today looks back on those songs, what we saw on stage, and how they work in the Contest.

Eurovision Insight Podcast: Daily Chat from Malmo, Friday 10th May
Hosted by Ewan Spence, with…

  1. Mag says:

Greece – I don’t care for their song. I sort of feel they are cheaters like Russian grannies were last year. Appeal to people’s sympathy and in this case to either teenagers that might think alcohol is free or those that get drunk before casting their vote…

Israel – yes, wrong dress. She’s convinced that her voice and boobs are her greatest assets and they are. Nevertheless I like her voice and song.

    Armenia – don’t like it

Albania – not huge fan, but I did like it from start. Never understood why some people are so negative about it.

Norway – well the rehearsal could have been better. Still in my top 5. You made such a big deal about lyrics!!! What about English singers lyrics??? Here from Family Guy about Sting’s lyrics (btw I love Sting!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhJK_X9SsZk

Switzerland: I never understood the hype about it

Hungary – I did like it originally, not impressed with the rehearsal

Georgia – this is why I hate sometime Eurovision…

Romania – never understood the negativity towards this entry. Not been liked by many is understandably, but all the fuss about voice, show and so on and how trashy is or breaking glasses, scaring dogs and so on…
