Nul Points! The Eurovision Quiz Show Written by on December 30, 2012 | 9 Comments

We said the final Insight show of the year, but there’s one more podcast to go before we welcome 2013 at our door.

Yes, it’s time for another edition of Nul Points! our Eurovision comedy panel quiz show, which is not inspired by any other comedy panel quiz show in existence. Honestly.

Recorded just before Junior Eurovision 2012, and the start of the National Final process, the quiz pits Eurovision pundit against Eurovision pundit with devilish questions, spurious speculation, and the occasional bit of bribery of the quizmaster (at least you think they would have learned by now that cash in a brown envelope does help…).

Nul Points! (Dec 2012)
Hosted by Ewan Spence, with…

Will Adams (www.wiwibloggs.com)
Ben Robertson (www.melodifestivalklubben.se)
Luke Fisher (www.escxtra.com)
Roy Bennett (Sometimes talks a bit on Facebook)

  2. Chris says:

It’s always fun to listen to a group of grown men giggling like school girls.

  3. Ewan Spence says:

I think I’ll take that as a compliment! Anyway, if it made you smile, success!

  4. Ben says:

Wait wait wait, did I hear that correctly? The BBC held an open selection in 2008 and recieved just NINE entries?!

  5. Ewan Spence says:

I believe that’s what happens when you don’t tell people there’s an open selection!

  6. Peter says:

    That was hilarious! 😀

Loved the random music clips as well, I’d forgotten how good things like the Juliet Bravo theme were 🙂

  7. Ewan Spence says:

There’s a specific reason for using Juliet Bravo, and a bonus two points in the next Nul Points for anyone who gets it 🙂

  8. Peter says:

Did Juliet have to get Bardot a cup of coffee from Starbucks in series 3, episode 4? 😉
