This week will see the entry list of the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest more than half filled, and we’ve still three more weekends of National Finals and song selections to look forward to.

So lets loo back at that almost fourteen hour schedule last Saturday which brought us many winning songs, previewing this weekend’s action, and follow up on other news around Europe.

And then there’s John Barrowman.

The longest National Final day is over, and we have the reports on the winners who are heading to Baku, and those who progress out their country’s semi finals. And what about the United Kingdom, was our song sneakily put out on Wednesday? Probably not.

    Never seen Watson & Oliver, so it is was easy for me, after a mini Henson binge, to imagine Muppets performing it.
