Poll: Was Düsseldorf the right decision? Written by on November 8, 2010

Tell us if you think Düsseldorf the right choice to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in this week’s Insight poll.

That’s the question being asked this week over on the Eurovision Insight Facebook Page (have you “liked” it yet?). By most accounts, four cities were left in the final round of bidding; Berlin, Hamburg, Hannover and the victor, Düsseldorf. But was it the right decision. Yes we get to have a fixed structure stadium, and any city will always have issues around attending the Contest that make each one feel unique, but Düsseldorf has raised a lot of eyes with fans that are planning their trip.

And Düsseldorf has raised the prices as well.

So cast your vote and let us know what you think. And if you want to rope in your Eurovision friends on Facebook, we’re not going to do anything other than encourage you!
